This question is incomplete, here´s the complete question.

Why was the three-fifths compromise necessary?

because 3/5 of the states would not agree to the Great Compromise

because the Senate was equally divided between Northern and Southern states

because the election of the president was based on the voting rights of free and enslaved people

because Southern states had large populations of enslaved people, which would influence representation

Answer: because Southern states had large populations of enslaved people, which would influence representation

Explanation:

One of Many conflicts arised when drafting the Constitution was whether or not slaves should be counted in the state's census to allot House representatives. The Three-Fifths Compromise established that slaveholding states could count free African Americans and 60 percent of their enslaved population. That 60 percent was also counted for federal taxation, but no such taxes were ever collected.

Which of the following might be considered a valid source for online research? Select all that apply.

Well, here is a hint. Anything ending in (.com) is not usually trustworthy, because they are usually trying to sell something, or are just not accurate. (.gov) is trust worthy I guess, but they are telling you what you want to hear. (WIKI IS NOT TRUSTWORTHY AT ALL) (.edu) would be the best, or (.org)
