Music was present at every event. At entertainment events, sporting, political, formal dinners, religious events, and even just walking down the street. Music was everywhere. Music quite literally dominated the Renaissance Era.

The poem centers on the actions of this one man because he is the one who murdered Nokomi's father. She sent Hiawatha to revenge her father's murder. The poem was written by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow in 1855. This poem is an epic poem.
