Answer:

It looks like the item that you posted has missing information but I'd like to answer this statement. Civil disobedience is a non-violent, public refusal to obey allegedly unjust laws. Examples of civil disobedience are Salt March, Extramadura Campaign, Flying pickets and sit-ins, dismantling unwanted enterprises, and poll tax non-payment.

What caused the massive influx of Irish immigrants to the United States in the early 1800s?
densk [106]

Answer:

A terrible famine in Ireland.

Explanation:

The British were very unfriendly to any kind of Irish nationalism and they cracked down hard. Ireland was primarily reliant on potatoes, and there was a horrible famine. Millions starved, and the British did little to help.

Irish immigrants had a very low standing in America, and were persecuted.

There wasn't free land in the West for the Irish.

The Irish people were not necessarily skilled artisans or craftsmen. Many of them were farmers, peasant folk, or factory workers who bargained their way to America.

What group launched anti-Diem protests in South Vietnam during the summer of 1963 that included street demonstrations and hunger
Ivenika [448]
The answer to that question is Buddhist monks. This began in 1963 when protesters where shot for demonstrating against the Buddhist’s Flag ban. This led to numerous protests by Buddhist monks directed against President Ngo Dinh Diem. Diem was a Catholic whose policies were partial to the Catholic minority. Majority of the Vietnamese population was Buddhist and many were oppressed by his policies. As a result many monks held protests against his administration’s policies. One such demonstration led monks to set themselves on fire. Later on a coup overthrew Diem which led to his arrest and assassination on November 12, 1963.
