If it ask you if you carry a liitle toy truck carrying a ball in top of it , and you suddenly pull it forwards the ball goes backwards . if i ask you why it happened you would say " hey ! have you gone crazy these days ? it happens because of inertia which is also the first law of newton " yes ? But if i ask you why the ball resists a change in its motion ? why the ball wants to be in its position in which it is kept ? why it doesn't want to move along with the the truck ?
