The main cause or reason for abuse may be jealousy. Jealousy is a mean a rude emotion that is the cause for a lot of issues. Another thing that could cause abuse is the need for control or power over someone. Some people feel the need to portray themselves as powerful and as a "force to not be reckoned with" when in reality they are lacking something emotionally or mentally that can cause them to act like that.
I think the seniors are sad because they didn't get to do all the other things that all the other seniors did before them. I would be very upset if i didn't get to go to senior prom.
