Dear Diego,
How are you? I am fine and safe here and hope to hear the same from you. How's the weather there? It's been long we haven't had a word with each other. Last year you were so happy to attend our school Annual Function. So, thought of writing to you to invite you for the same.
This year the Annual Function will be conducted on 1st February, 2021 in our newly constructed school auditorium. I will be anchoring along with one of my friend. Apart from anchoring I am also participating in the dance drama. Regular practice is going on and all of us are doing it enthusiastically and gracefully. Our teachers are also giving their best to train us so that we could give our best performance. Earlier I had taken anchoring a simple task but now when I'm entrusted with the responsibility of hosting the entire program, I realized that it is not everyone's cup of tea. It requires accurate expression and voice modulation. It is the responsibility of the anchor to make the programme a lively one. I learnt a lot through this practice session. I will be ever indebted to my English teacher Miss Gomes for her teachings. She taught me the expression and voice modulation. This is for the first time I am anchoring in such a grand event , and so I'm excited but nervous as well.
please try to attend the function. I will attain some strength if I see you there. My parents will also come. Trust me, I will really feel overwhelmed if I can perform in front of you and my parents. I will try to make you all proud there. Please don't disheartened me.
Hoping to see you soon there. Till then take care. Bye!
Sincerely,
Zynah Asim.

Summary Of Rethinking The Wild By Christopher Solomon Essay
1530 Words7 Pages
Humanity co-exists with nature in a relationship that periodically shifts between symbiotic and parasitic. We maintain this relationship in order to survive. In exchange, we carefully monitor how our behavior alters the natural environment and affects those living within it. This responsibility is the price we pay for our species’ sentience and dominance. To help fulfill our duty, America established the 1954 Wilderness Act in hopes of becoming passive “guardians” of nature instead of encroaching “gardeners.” However, the Wilderness Act has failed. In his article, “Rethinking the Wild”, Christopher Solomon questions the effectiveness of the law and correctly concludes that, after fifty years of dormancy, mankind must take an active role in environmental protection, the role of the gardener. Though critics may argue that the passivity of the “guardian” should be maintained, realistically, little can be done to preserve the environment when we refuse to do anything. Because mankind has a greater stake in the wilderness than we realize, we must assume a proactive role in protecting the wilderness out of respect for nature and our own ethical standards.
Boundaries and Investments
Assume for the sake of our argument that nature holds no intrinsic value. Why, then, is the wilderness worth protecting? Truthfully, the wilderness can be a valuable indicator of the planet’s overall health, which is not easily gauged in industrialized and populated areas due to human influence.
