Write a story on the day i had a chance to act
PtichkaEL [24]
I have a brief story to tell of a day which I always remember and cherish during which I found out something very important about myself and my values in life. It happened when I was coming home from high school on my fisherman friends boat (we had to take a bus, then take a boat and then walk to get home). I was also a fisherman's son who also had worked on the fishing boat of my dad. But whereas my friend was in the general non-university program, I was in the university entrance program so I had aspirations for higher education. As we approached the float of my friend's house, I put down my briefcase with all my homework and jumped down onto the float with a line to help tie it up. Then when I looked up, my friend handed me my briefcase. This felt so good, that I was not forgetting my humble background and not acting superior but being what I was- a fisherman's son basically and primarily and secondarily a potential university student and that my friend appreciated my action.

“Twelfth night”by William Shakespeare. How does the diction of these lines impact the tone of the play?
katrin2010 [14]

Answer:

The tone of Twelfth Night is irreverent and bemused, mocking the self-seriousness and pretensions of the most self-deluded characters in the play. The play’s antic energy, bolstered by songs, jokes, drinking, and dancing, incorporates the topsy-turvy, irreverent spirit of the Epiphany celebration.

1. MLA style requires that you create a header for each page that contains which of the following? A. Your last name and page nu
astraxan [27]
The answer is A. your last name and page number
In the letter particularly, last name usually put as an introduction before the initial content of the letter, so it will be better if created with header.
For page that contains page number, the header is created to give a pointer on what the page number means/indicates

I have an interview with UWC after 3 days .They are likely to ask me to tell about myself. So what should I start with? any tips
Nataly_w [17]

If they ask you about yourself, just start with what qualities you like about yourself.

TIP: Make eye contact and portray a confident appearance, like don't slouch and mumble, speak clear and sit straight, be on time, be prepared, and know what you're saying.
