What evidence did king Ferdinand and de la casa use to construct their histories on the encomienda system?
kherson [118]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

King Ferdinand of Spain and Bartolomé de las Casas used to impose the Encomienda system on the premise that conquered land belonged to the Spanish crown, under the service of God. King Ferdinand knew about the many raw materials and natural resources from the Americas and was urged to exploit those resources to the benefit of Spain. Bartolomé de las Casas owned many Encomiendas on the island of Cuba. So he was not only interested in evangelization and on the conversion of American Indians into Catholicism, he loved getting rich and that's what he did through the Encomienda system. The Encomienda system granted subjects to work and exploit the land and control the Indians who paid tribute to the Spanish monarchy. A very unjust system of exploitation.

List Facts and Responsibilities for The Legislative , Judicial, and executive Branches:
vagabundo [1.1K]
Legislative Branch: Headed by Congress, which includes the House of Representatives and the Senate. The main task of these two bodies is to make the laws. Its powers include passing laws, originating spending bills (House), impeaching officials (Senate), and approving treaties (Senate). The Supreme Court's role is to interpret the Constitution and limit the powers of the other branches of government. The Supreme Court's power to do this is its power of judicial review, where it determines which laws and policies are constitutional, or allowable, and which are not. The executive branch of the U.S. government is responsible for enforcing laws; its power is vested in the President. The President acts as both the head of state and commander-in-chief of the armed forces. Independent federal agencies are tasked with enforcing the laws enacted by Congress.
