The Pilgrims were the settlers from England who were finding an escape from the religious persecution and established the Colony of Plymouth. William Bradford was also an English Puritan separatist who lived in the West Riding of Yorkshire, England. He was the one among who signed the Mayflower Compact and moved on to serve the post of the Governor of the Colony of Plymouth .
