Kamila [148]
Kids are outside of the box thinkers they don’t have cognitive thoughts or distortions which helps them just go with the flow and move on from the past really quickly while as teens and adults we like to stick on the past and continue worrying about the future

What is the significance of Lennie's two visions (Aunt Clara and the Giant Rabbit, both of whom speak in Lennie's own voice)? Us
KengaRu [80]

Answer:

Lennie's visions mean that Lennie recognizes her guilt. Furthermore, these visions foreshadow Lennie's death.

Explanation:

Lennie's visions show us that he has a certain awareness of his actions and recognizes that they are wrong and destructive. These visions exist to make Lennie feel guilt and remorse for her mistakes, as well as fear of punishment that he may receive for his actions. Through the dream, Lennie knows that his plans are lost and that he will not be able to move on with his own life.

What is the central idea of passage 1?

I really need help!!!!!
kolbaska11 [484]

Jack London wrote “The Call of the Wild” as a short adventure novel. He published it in 1903. The story is set in Yukon, Canada, during the 1890s when strong sled dogs were in high demand, this is really important to mention because the central character of the novel, Buck, the dog, was stolen from its owners and sold as a sled dog. Buck becomes gradually savage in the hard environment, where he is forced to fight to survive and dominate other dogs. By the end, he sheds the veneer of civilization, and relies on primitive instinct and arises as a leader in the wild.

Perhaps the strongest main idea of the passage is:

that sometimes pride is the only thing that can push you to survive in harsh environments, sometimes the only manner to thrive and progress in difficult situations is reversing to feral instincts and letting the wild animal inside of you to take control and fight your way to the top.
