The ports of the West Coast of the United States have historically been very important for the development of the country. Thanks to this commercial expansion, the United States also gained a great geopolitical influence, for which bioceanity played a fundamental role. Today, America is influential both in the Atlantic Ocean, which connects it with Europe, and in the Pacific Ocean, which brings it closer to the great Asian markets.
