One theme in The Hobbit is that ordinary characters can make extraordinary differences. Explain how this theme is illustrated in
the episode in which Bilbo rescues the dwarves from the spiders. What traits help him achieve success? Describe another episode that illustrates this theme. Use evidence from the novel as support
During the adventurous journey, dwarves along with Bilbo faced so many difficulties and one of them was Spider’s attack. When the dwarves were attacked by the spiders, Bilbo slipped his magical ring on his finger and became invisible. He was distracting the spiders away from the dwarves by throwing the rocks and killing few of them. He also was singing a song which had some insulting words such as “old fat spider”,” Attercop”, “old tomnoddy”, and “lazy lob” to get them curious, excited, and angry all at once. The spiders were very angry, and they started to chase him. While the spider was still distracting, Bilbo went to save his companions.
I believe the correct answer is B) Sam and Hally enjoy the intellectual exchange.
I came to this conclusion because Fugard uses this to show how inconsiderate Hally is of Sam's perspective, and despite seeing himself as politically progressive, he still harbors obvious racists views.

Implication: the fact or state of being involved in or connected to something
An implication is something that is suggested, or happens, indirectly. When you left the gate open and the dog escaped, you were guilty by implication. Implication has many different senses. Usually, when used in the plural, implications are effects or consequences that may happen in the future.

You didn't study for your test - negative - you failed your test and got a 40%.
