Jim is trying to express to Huck that no matter what situation Huck is in he will grow from that experience and learn how to correctly place himself him culture and society and in doing so will create a environment that will be more suited to him. But this setting will crumble just like any environment that you are surrounded by. In saying this he is telling Huck that in order to live life to the fullest he must go with the flow and accept the environment around him in order to truly experience life in the fullest.
What I would do is explore the city I live in more and go to a carnival and watch the sunset while on a ferris wheel. I would also realize how good to feel to be around people, but also how it truly feels being alone even if its for only 24 hours.
Questions. I feel that questions are a big part of advertising. They capture the watchers attention by asking certain questions. It is almost like writing the first paragraph of an essay, you may ask a question to intrigue your readers and make them want to read what you have to say. Commercials can often ask questions about how you feel or what fun things you like to do.
- Music. Music is another was to capture your viewers’ attention. I have been noticing that in the beginning of commercials they have been inserting popular songs such as Home by Phillip Phillips. By having such popular songs in commercials it catches the viewers’ attention because they may enjoy that song and continue watching the commercial.
- Words. Advertisers have a way of using words to their benefit. They like to manipulate words to make the product look or sound better than it actually may be. They can also make certain words bigger than others. What I mean by this is when advertisers are explaining how much something costs they may emphasize certain words like “FREE PURSE” to capture your attention. In small letters underneath “FREE PURSE” they may put “with a purchase of $50.”
- Celebrities. Celebrities are a great way to get the attention of commercial viewers. Products like Proactiv have already tried putting celebrities in their commercials. If someone see’s their favorite celebrity in a commercial, chances are, they will continue watching. People who may have not tried Proactiv yet may want to experiment with it if they see that their favorite singer, Katy Perry, is using it.
- People. A lot of times advertisers will put cute guys or girls in commercials to intrigue their viewers. This happens in many commercials. Abercrombie & Fitch and Victoria’s Secret are great examples.

Today I will be comparing both the poet's views on the war that are, and how they convey this through their writing,with use of language, structure, devices and/or imagery. The Battle of Blenheim and The Charge of the Light Brigade both question the point of war and show the horror of battle. One does it through the eyes of child helping us to question war and the other uses the energy and heroism of the cavalry in a tragic and futile battle.Both poems are ballads. This form is used to tell the story of war. <span>It tells the story of the six hundred men who charged to their inevitable death in a battle in the Crimean War. The men were acting on wrong orders and their tragic story shows us that war is futile. They could not nor would not have wanted to question the orders, 'theirs not to reason why, theirs but to do and die.' Although Tennyson shows disbelief that the men had to charge into the 'mouth of hell' he does not blame the brave soldiers, the 'noble six hundred.' Instead he thinks we should 'honor the charge they made'. This poem both celebrates and questions the men of war. The way both poems are structured is very similar, they are both tightly structured into small paragraphs consisting of short lines, (this is a typical characteristic of ballads/poems). The Battle Of Blenheim is made up of paragraphs containing 6 short sentences. This is consistent throughout the poem.</span>
