How technology affects society in Fahrenheit 451 and the real world Every day, everywhere people are using technology to check email, calculate tax, and talk with each other. Technology has greatly affected the social structure today and in Fahrenheit 451. Technology has effected how the TV controls our lives, how we communicate with one another, and how strong the social structure is In both the real world and Fahrenheit 451.
In Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451 and the film Pleasantville, the theme of control is presented through dehumanization, collective loss of memory and mastery of nature. Both of these stories display extreme dehumanization. In the text of Fahrenheit 451 regard to human life is very low. Technology controls their life.
It is easy to say that technology has become a large part of both the real world society and in Fahrenheit 451. Works Cited Bradbury, Ray. Fahrenheit 451. New York: Ballantine, 1982. Print. Sheldon, Pavica. “Psychologist Examines Effects of Technology Society.” Psychologist Examines Effects of Technology Society.

An intensive pronoun is used correctly in sentence A, "Emilia herself didn't realize the spy had gained access codes until the security breach happened.

Intensive pronouns are used to add emphasis. They are usually found directly after the subject in which they modify. Intensive pronouns include the words myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, yourselves, and themselves.  In this case, the intensive pronoun is herself because it is modifying the subject, Emilia.
