-525 ÷ (-125) = 4.2
(positive because negative divided by negative = positive)

-125 goes into -525 four times
the remainder is 25, and when the 0 comes down, its 250
125 goes into 250 two times.

When you divide a negative bumber with a negative the result will be positive :
-525 ÷ (-125) = 4.2

Caitlyn has a credit card with a spending limit of $1500 and an APR (annual percentage rate) of 18%. During the first month, Cai

APR=18%
Monthly interest = 18/12=1.5%
If Caitlyn paid before due date,
amount liable for interest charges = 375-250 = $125
Interest charge for the month
=$125*1.5%
=$1.88

If a single expression is required, then
interest = (375-250)*0.018/12 = $1.88  to the nearest cent.

Jamie has earned $80 +75 +145 +250 +80 = $630 so far this week. He needs to earn an additional $875 -630 = $245 to pay his bills.

Answer:

Question 6: -8

Question 7: C

Step-by-step explanation:

Question 6:

The reason question 6 is -8 is because of the distance in between each number, e.g -7 and -15. This is not to be confused with + 8 each time that would make the sequence 9, 18, 27.

Question 7:

The way we solve this question is using the nth term rule, whatever is before the n is the times tables we follow. So if it is 2n the sequence would be 2, 4, 6, 8 etc. However when we add something like the -2 we do the 2 times tables but this time we -2 for each one. Example: 2 - 2 = 0 so the first number of the sequence is 0, Example 2: 4-2 = 2 so the second number of the sequence is 2.
