Answer:

The Harlem Renaissance was a cultural and artistic movement during the 1920s that focused on the experience of black Americans.

Explanation:

The Harlem Renaissance was the rebirth of black art in the community of African-Americans living in Harlem, New York during the 1920s.

Although it is sometimes said to include all of upper Manhattan, traditionally Harlem is bordered by the south on East 96th Street, where the railroad track emerges from the tunnel beneath Park Avenue, and next to Central Park, to the west by Morningside Heights, 125th Street to the Hudson River, north on 155th Street, and east to the East River.

Jazz music, literature and painting stood out in a significant way among the artistic creations of the main components of this artistic movement:

At the beginning of the 1920s three key works showed the new African-American literary creativity. Harlem Shadows (1922) by Claude McKay, became one of the first African-American works published by a major national publishing house. Cane (1923), by Jean Toomer, is an experimental novel that combines poetry and prose to show southern and urban rural life in the north of American blacks. Finally, Confusion (1924), the first novel by Jessie Fauset, represents the life of the African-American middle class from the point of view of a woman.

The correct one:
The Harlem Renaissance was a cultural and artistic movement during the 1920s that focused on the experience of black Americans.

Why the others are not correct:

The 1960s was the time of the Civil rights and Black Power movement.

The 1820s... well... slavery still existed. It didn't end until 1865 so there was no positive movement or experiences for us then.

The British colonial official explaining the policies is written below.

The benefits of the British colonial polices

The British are one of the world super power. They command a lot of colonies and as such they needed a way to keep these colonies united, in check and move forward.

The British invented the use of polices such as placing tariffs on imports of foreign goods and hindering the shipping through English channels, This policy will help promote the British local product and dependence on them.

In the 19th century, British did enact a colonial policy in regards to West Africa and that was the policy of assimilation so that Africans can be taken into and understand the European civilization and culture.
