The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Unfortunately, you forgot to include the text, case, example, excerpt, or further reference to answer your question.

We do not know what you are talking about because y forgot to attach the proper information. Your question only says: "Was the United States justified in the actions described?"

What are the actions? There is no text that describes any actions.

However, trying to help you with something, we can comment on the following.

There are many questions like this that refer to the actions taken by the United States regarding expansionist and imperialistic ideas. If that is the case, then we can say the following.

Under the principle of the Manifested Destiny, the United States had taken interventionist or expansionist actions that have resulted in the increase of the size of its territory, by annexing big portions of land.

That was teh case of the Mexican-American War, in which after the US victory, it annexed California, Arizona, and New Mexico.

Another good example was teh Spanish-American War of 1898. After the war, the US victory gave the US control of territories that belonged to the Spanish crown. We are talking about Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Philippines.

For these kinds of actions, and new interventionist ones in the Middle East of Central American, the US has been severely criticized worldwide.

In 3-5 sentences, interpret how the government attempted to gain citizens' cooperation using this war poster.
DanielleElmas [232]

Answer:

This war poster "QUIET! LOOSE TALK CAN COST LIVES!" Is playing on the idea of the incongruity of spies or traitors that can listen in on their conversations so it's basically telling everybody not to go around saying all of their plans because if they do they could all just end up dying.
