Hoodies should be worn in school because of many reasons. For instance, we should be allowed to wear hoodies because of the cold. Wearing hoodies to school can help us students with bad hair days. Waking up too early, is already a struggle for some students. Being able to wear hoodies can boost someone’s insecurity because other students won’t make fun of the student who is just not having a good hair day.
The last reason I believe we should wear hoodies is because it can help students concentrate. Most students, including me, like to put on their hoodies because it keeps them isolated from distractions around the classroom. The hoodie blocks everything else but what you're looking at on your desk or at the board. Therefore, students can concentrate on their work.
For these reasons, I am writing to you to ask if you could please let your students at Parkway High School, wear hoodies on campus. Hoods can comfort students, keep our ears and neck warm, increase the confidence for those late birds, and can help students concentrate.
