1) England placed high taxes on certain items the colonists bought from England.
2) Colonists paid higher prices for goods imported from England.

It happened because there was no university in Seychelles.
Seychelles is an archipelago in the Indian Ocean consisting of 115 island-countries. It has the smallest population of any African sovereign countries ( 94,000).
It is one of Africa's countries with most economic prosperity and it has the highest nominal per capita GDP in Africa.
There are a total of 68 schools in Seychelles, seven of them post-secondary.
In September 2009, the first ever university was founded, the University of Seychelles ( UniSey ). It was created as an attempt to slow the brain drain that had occurred previously. Students had to go abroad to study and many of them stayed there afterwards and never returned home, taking with them all the knowledge obtained. By staying abroad, they did not contribute to their home country''s economic and social development, which was a big concern for the government of Seychelles.
The University opened in three locations and offers qualifications from the University of London.
The Great Leap Forward was brought forth by Chinese Communist Party that had an economic and social campaign to transform the country into a socialist society geared towards industrialization and collectivization. This organization was led by Mao Zedong which has eventually led to famine in China because of its miscalculated reforms. While the Cultural Revolution was also Mao Zedong’s delusional idea that he can reassert his authority over the Chinese Government. It was a series of violence and torture which has been imbedded in Chinese political history.
Both change the course how Chinese politics happened during those early days and both were caused by Mao Ze Dong.
