Inessa05 [86]

I believe it's "Some schools have sought to have the Supreme Court reverse its ruling in a related case with First Amendment implications, Tinker v. Des Moines."

Explanation:

The landmark January 1988 decision in Hazelwood v. Kuhlmeier was a giant step back for student press and speech rights. Unlike an earlier Supreme Court ruling that established the so-called Tinker Standard, the Hazelwood decision declared students do shed some of their Constitutional rights at the schoolhouse gate

Pani-rosa [81]

Answer:

Significance of the explorer Columbus:

  • He made four trips across the Atlantic Ocean from Spain: during the time in 1492, 1493, 1498, and 1502.
  • Thus led him to discover numerous Caribbean islands, the Gulf of Mexico, and the South and Central American mainland.

Significance of the explorer Hudson:

  • He also went onto his first voyage, west from England in 1607, hired by a person (Can't remember on the top of my head)
  • After going through some difficulties in his explorations, Hudson started on his third voyage, however, this time he went through the request of the Dutch East India Company, in 1609.

Sorry, those are all the events that Columbus and Hudson went through that I could remember. I hope this assists you!

In the modern globalized world, countries are linked together like never before as information, products and even people spread
svetlana [45]

The globalization is a process that has brought many positives in the world, in almost every country and among almost all people. Unfortunately, this process also has its negatives too, and of them is the fact that the safety of the people around the world has actually decreased. The main reason for this is that through the mass and social media, everyone can communicate with everyone, so violence and extremism is often spread out in this way to people thousands of miles away. The means of travel are enabling people from all over the world to be able to go anywhere they want, including the people that want to cause troubles and damage. Another thing that is of great concern is that through the mail, everything can be sent everywhere, including deadly chemicals and pathogens. The deadly diseases that were only local, now can easily be transferred to other continents in only few hours because people travel throughout the whole world. The evidence for the decline in safety can easily be seen in the ever growing terrorist attacks all over the globe, people that have caused the death of civilians because they have been recruited online over time, pathogens spreading out into places where they are not native, and almost daily packages and letters sent through the mail with explosives or deadly chemicals in them.
