Answer:

Hello,

There are 6 years that have a lot of main dates but, I will help you create a timeline to sum up 10 important ones within those 6 years.

Explanation:

--In 1914--

July 28 - Austria-Hungary declares war on Serbia. Russia begins mobilizing its troops. (Start date of the war)

August 23 to 30 - The Battle of Tannenberg is fought between Germany and Russia. The Germans defeat the Russian Second Army. (Germany had wanted war with the Russians and French)

October 19 to November 22 - The Allies defeat the Germans at the First Battle of Ypres.

--In 1915--

February 4 - The Germans begin to use submarines against Allied merchant ships around the island of Britain. (The Germans had submarines which was a bit advanced to other countries so they used it as an advantage during the war)

May 7 - The Lusitania, a luxury British passenger ship, is sunk by a German submarine. 1,195 civilians were killed. This act sparks international outrage and contributes to the United States joining the war against Germany. (Germans had caused a lot of problems when they killed the thousands of lives causing the American people to team up against the Germans)

--In 1916--

February 21 - The Battle of Verdun begins between France and Germany. This battle will last until December of 1916 and will finally result in a French victory.

July 1 - The Battle of the Somme begins. Over 1 million soldiers will be wounded or killed.

--In 1917--

March 8 - The Russian Revolution begins. Tsar Nicholas II is removed from power on March 15.

--In 1918--

January 8 - President Woodrow Wilson issues his "Fourteen Points" for peace and an end to the war.

--In 1919--

June 28 - The Treaty of Versailles is signed by Germany and World War I comes to an end. (This is until Germany starts another war with ww2)

How to solve superstition
Masja [62]

Superstition is a belief or notion, not based on reasons or knowledge, in or of the ominous significance of a particular thing, circumstance, occurring, proceeding, or the like. To overcome superstition, figure out reality and cling to it. Reality is what the five senses—touch, sight, sound, smell, and taste—allow us to perceive. It is not reality if none of those can comprehend it. Remember that there are restrictions at this time. One cannot quickly grasp the distant past. For instance, I reject the existence of gods or invisible, immaterial entities since there is no proof for them. However, since fossilized dinosaur bones have been discovered all throughout the world, I assume that they actually existed. In other words, there is proof that they formerly existed.

What ideas brought a renewed interest to the idea of continental drift?
aleksley [76]

Continental drift is the geological phenomenon in which continents move. These movements at speeds of a few centimeters per year can actually be measured since the advent of satellite geodesy. The movement of continents is caused by plate tectonics.

Alfred Wegener noted at the beginning of the 20th century that the edges of some continents (particularly South America and Africa) are similar in shape, concluding that the continents were connected and separated before. The problem was that it was not known how huge land masses could move across the Earth's surface. Such a movement requires enormous power and it was not known where it came from.

Later it was known that, according to plate tectonics, the continents move as a result of convection currents in the mantle. They slowly move away from each other, bump into each other, slide under each other, or rub against each other. This causes various surface phenomena, such as earthquakes, volcanism, and slow changes, such as subsidence, mountain building and the displacement of continents.

Suppose a psychologist developed a test to measure intelligence, but this test was poorly developed and really only measured how
Westkost [7]

Answer:

The answer is construct validity.

Explanation:

Construct validity is described as the degree in which a study actually measures what it claims to be measuring. A well-designed research will ideally have high construct validy, while a poorly designed one may confound the variables and result in measuring a different aspect.

For example, if a researcher tries to find which of two perfumes is more attractive to customers, but uses different shaped or coloured bottles, it's possible that the test will lack construct validity (the bottles may affect the customers' opinions).
