The group, Percy, Grover, and Annabeth, travel west to go and meet Hades, although the god who has turned was actually Ares. Percy later finds Zeus' lightning bolt in a backpack given to him by Ares. He returns it to Zeus, as well as Hades' Helm of Darkness, which was also in the possession of Ares. First, the store at Camp Half-blood loaned them some money to get started on their journey. Then they were able to take a bit of money from Medusa's barbecue restaurant after they chopped off her head. Hades is the god who has turned against his brothers, Zeus and Poseidon. Hades must have had someone steal the master bolt for him so that Zeus and Poseidon would wage war on one another. Hades is the god of the Underworld, which means that Percy and Grover have a ticket to Worm City. Annabeth, Percy, and Grover are the first heroes to return alive to Half-Blood Hill since Luke, so they participate in a traditional feast and burn the burial shrouds that the other campers made for them. ... She writes that she also put a deposit down on a new private school if Percy wants to attend and live at home.

NeX [460]

I believe cochlear implants since deaf people often read lips and watch hands which is both sign language and visual communication

i think deaf people would prefer getting together in person as well since it is easier to read lips and/or see signs

What is the poets message in still I rise?
Allisa [31]
Essentially the poem is about triumph over adversity. It is about strength and courage, and fortitude. It is about not accepting one's vulnerability in the face of domination. And basically it is about joining together with one voice and saying, we will overcome!

Why does the summary need to be revised?
liberstina [14]
Um, which summary?
If you're talking about this;
Read the summary of the section of "The Beginnings of the Maasai," where the volcanic eruption and its results are described.

As a result of a volcanic eruption, Enkai and the cattle were thrown into the sky. Enkai wanted to save his cattle. He grew a tree that bridged the sky and the earth. The cattle walked down the tree to Neiterkob. Neiterkob and the Maasai tribe took over caring for the cattle.

Why does the summary need to be revised?

Then the answer is:
The summary lacks transitions that connect ideas

Led by General George Washington, it won the Revolutionary War. The peace treaty of 1783 established the borders of the new nation.

It is commonly said that "Columbus discovered America." It would be more accurate, perhaps, to say that he introduced the Americas to Western Europe during his four voyages to the region between 1492 and 1502.

It took Thomas Jefferson 17 days to write the Declaration of Independence. On July 2, 1776, Congress America voted to declare independence from Great Britain. On July 4, 1776, Congress voted to accept the Declaration of Independence, marking July 4 as Independence Day.
