Answer:

1

Explanation:

What do you mean by a pass? A pass through each number in the list?

for x in numLst:

    if x == 20:

         return True

This would run through the list once, as you're just checking if each element is 20 in this loop.

gladu [14]

Answer:

C. It adds many new examples to clarify the framework concepts.

Explanation:

COSO is short for Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the TreadWay Commission.The original framework released by COSO was the Internal Control-Integrated Framework, published in the year 1992. The purpose of this framework is to help in establishing effective internal control in businesses.

The updated framework was published in the year 2013. The purpose of this updated frame work includes;

  • helping businesses in establishing an effective and efficient internal control system that would help them in the implementation and documentation of issues affecting their businesses.

  • It also provides users with more precise guidelines which does not take away from the original framework, but rather builds on it.

Differentiate between computer organization and computer architecture with example
vazorg [7]
Computer architecture was essentially a contract with software stating unambiguously what the hardware does. The architecture was essentially a set of statements of the form "If you execute this instruction (or get an interrupt, etc.), then that is what happens." <More sophisticated readers: I get to the term "ISA" later.>
Computer organization, then, was a usually high-level description of the logic, memory, etc., used to implement that contract: These registers, those data paths, this connection to memory, etc.

Computer Architecture and Computer Organization Examples

Intel and AMD make X86 CPUs where X86 refers to the computer architecture used. X86 is an example on a CISC architecture (CISC stands for Complex Instruction Set Computer). CISC instructions are complex and may take multiple CPU cycles to execute. As you can see, one architecture (X86) but two different computer organizations (Intel and AMD flavors).

nVidia and Qualcomm on the other hand make GPUs (graphics processing unit as opposed to a CPU central processing unit). These GPUs are based on the ARM (Advanced RISC Machines) architecture. ARM is an example on a RISC architecture (RISC stands for Reduced Instruction Set Computer). Instructions in an ARM architecture are relatively simple and typically execute in one clock cycle. Similarly, ARM here is the computer architecture while both nVidia and Qualcomm develop their own flavor of computer organization (i.e architecture implementation)

Write a program named as calcPrice.c that formats product information entered by the user and calculate the total amount of purc
Colt1911 [192]

Answer:

Here is the calcPrice.c program:

#include <stdio.h>   //to use input output functions

int main(void)  {  //start of main method

   int itemNo, month, day, year, quantity; //declares variables to hold item number, quantity, and date

   float unitPrice; //declare variable to hold price per unit

   printf("Enter item number: "); // prompts user to enter item number

   scanf("%d", &itemNo); //reads item number from user and stores it in itemNo variable

   printf("Enter unit price: "); // prompts user to enter unit price

   scanf("%f", &unitPrice); //reads input unit price and stores it in unitPrice variable

    printf("Enter quantity: "); //prompts user to enter quantity

   scanf("%d", &quantity); //reads input quantity and stores it in quantity variable

   printf("Enter purchase date (mm/dd/yyyy): "); //prompts user to enter purchase date

   scanf("%d/%d/%d", &month, &day, &year); //reads input date and stores it in month, day and year variables

    float totalAmount = unitPrice * quantity; //computes the total amount

   printf("\nItem\tUnit Price\tQTY\tPurchase Date\tTotal Amount\n"); //displays the item, unit price, qty, purchase data and total amount with tab space between each

   printf("%d\t$%5.2f\t%d\t%.2d/%.2d/%d\t$%5.2f\n", itemNo, unitPrice,quantity, month, day, year,totalAmount); } //displays the values of itemNo, unitPrice, quantity, month, day, year and computed totalAmount with tab space between each

Explanation:

Lets suppose user enters 583 as item number, 13.5 as unit price, 2 as quantity and 09/15/2016 as date so

itemNo = 583

unitPrice = 13.5

quantity = 2

month = 09

day = 15

year = 2016

totalAmount is computed as:

  totalAmount = unitPrice * quantity;

totalAmount = 13.5* 2

totalAmount = 27.00

Hence the output of the entire program is:

Item Unit Price QTY Purchase Date Total Amount

583     $  13.50           2           09/15/2016         $  27.00

The screenshot of the program along with its output is attached.

Which of the following general classes of computers designed for medical, engineering, or animation and graphics design uses are
jasenka [17]

Servers is the general classes of computers designed for medical, engineering, or animation and graphics design uses are optimized for visualization and rendering of three-dimensional models, and typically have fast processors, large memory, and advanced video cards.

D) servers

Explanation:

Better to use servers, where it can handle multiple tasks since it has enough multiple microprocessors.

Normal PC memory is little slow then server memory. In case slow processing the graphics or animation end user can include memory cards in servers. Good advanced video graphics card be insert to the server slot for better performance. Good advance video graphics has also extra memory to process the graphics animation.

Normally personal computers also be achieved but it has own limitation. Simple animation can be achieved by personal computers.
