Ali took a minute to think while the scratching and the noise got louder and more aggressive. While he was still thinking in his

tent, something crashed into the tent. Ahmad jumped out of the tent immediately because he thought that the dangerous animal was attacking Ali. Hearing the noise, everyone ran out of their tents to make sure that Ahmad was safe. To everyone's surprise, it was only a tree branch that was making the noise. The wind moved the branch to rub against Ali's tent, causing it to make a loud noise. Ali and his friends still laugh about the story every time they meet.

Some schools in Edmonton have a rule that does not reflect the maturity of Grade 6 students. What is this rule?
Alinara [238K]

Answer:

The rule of escorting sixth graders to the bathroom in some schools does not reflect their maturity.

Explanation:

"Grade Six in Edmonton" is an article that talks about how the schools in Edmonton are trying to develop sixth graders.

While talking about the supervision of sixth graders, the writer writes that schools in Edmonton have rules to make sure that the students do their things on their own, such as crossing the street. Some schools in Edmonton have rules of not escorting the sixth graders to the bathroom, so as to make them learn independence. But some schoolshave rules that they still need to be escorted to the bathroom, which does not reflect the maturity of sixth graders.

So, it is the rule of escorting Grade 6 students to the bathroom that does not reflect their maturity.

"Forgetfulness" by Billy Collins. Then answer the question.
Ksju [112]

The correct answer is B. it does not follow a formal structure.

Let us first go through all of these options in order to determine the structural characteristics of Forgetfulness, by Billy Collins.

Option A is incorrect - if you count the syllables in each line, you will see that the first one has 11, the second one 13, and so on - so, not 10.

Option C is also incorrect - there are actually 8 stanzas, and they are not of equal length.

Option D is also incorrect - there are no rhymes in this poem.

So, by the process of elimination, the correct answer is B - this poem doesn't follow a formal structure - it is rather a free verse poem containing stanzas of varying lengths.
