Sustainable development was their approach.

Further Explanation:

The brundtland commission is also known by the name of world commission on the environment and development and the main aim of this commission was to unite the countries to obtain and pursue the sustainable development together with support of each other. Gro Harlem Brundtland was the first chairman of this commission and he was appointed by the General Secretary of the United Nations, Javier Perez de Cuellar in year 1983.

During that period of time, UN general assembly realized that there was a heavy collapse of the environment as well as natural resources. Its aim was to rally the countries to work and achieve their goal of sustainable development together and it was then the United Nations decided to establish this commission. The reason behind choosing Gro Harlem Brundtland as the president of this commission was because he had a strong background in the sciences and public health.

The weathering of rocks in zion and bryce canyons takes place by ___.
Alik [6]

The weathering of rocks in Zion and Bryce canyons takes place by both physical and chemical weathering.

What is weathering?

 • Rocks, soils, minerals, wood, and manmade materials all deteriorate due to weathering when they come into touch with water, air gases, and living things.
 • The process of weathering's contribution to soil formation is arguably its most significant feature.
 • Weathering comes in three flavors: physical, chemical, and biological.
 • Weathering can be facilitated by wind, water, ice, plants, gravity, and temperature variations.
 • Things become fragmented via weathering. Erosion is the process through which soil or rock fragments move to new sites.
 • Different landforms can alter in size, shape, and texture due to weathering and erosion (such as mountains, riverbeds, beaches, etc).
