On my holiday this past break, I went to my Grandma’s house in Texas. I was a little worried as to if the trip would be fun or not, and my theory that is would be boring was starting to come true until the third day when my Grandma showed me the big beach walk down the road. The whole family went and walked the beach for a little bit, splashing and walking, splashing and walking. We even bought snow cones and gave one to our dog! And after a little more waking, eating, and beach volleyball, it got dark and we settled down under the stars. We found a fire pit and laughed as grandpa struggled to light the fire. We made s’mores, enjoyed each other’s company, and listened to the waves crash into the shore!
