Students should state which of the metacognitive strategies were used for these poems. Strategies may include but not be limited to scanning the text, asking questions, making predictions or identifying the structure or purpose. Students may have skipped any of these strategies as well as previewing pictures and other visual aids as there weren’t any on the poem doc.
