Answer: A great leader has great self-control and makes sound decisions.

Explanation:

Odysseus and his men reached the Island of the Cyclops as they sailed home and Odysseus out of curiosity decided to explore it further even through his men tried to convince him to return to the ships.

As a result, several of his men were killed and eaten. This went against Greek attitudes and values of a leader having self control and making sound decisions because Odysseus had no self control when he decided to stay on the island instead of making the sound decision to leave immediately.
