uates to a loan of $9728.75. Assuming that Hailey's monthly payment and the APR of the loan remain fixed, which of these is a correct statement?
A. If it were a 6-year loan, the amount of the loan that Hailey is considering taking out would be more than $9728.75.
B. If it were a 14-year loan, the amount of the loan that Hailey is considering taking out would be less than $9728.75.
C. If it were a 12-year loan, the amount of the loan that Hailey is considering taking out would be less than $9728.75.

Solution:

Let initial amount of loan = $ x

Total amount that Hailey,is thinking about taking as loan= $ 9728.75

Number of months in 8 years = 12 × 8 =96 months

So, If monthly payment= $ 115

Total money paid after 96 months = 115 × 96=$ 11040

Monthly amount if APR= 3.2 % monthly of amount x= \frac{3.2 x}{100}

Total money paid after 6 years= 72 months = 115 × 72=$ 8280

Total money paid after 10 years= 120 months = 115 × 120=$ 13,800

Option (D) : →→ If it were a 10-year loan, the amount of the loan that Hailey is considering taking out would be more than $9728.75 is true.

A weather report said there is a 60% chance of rain on Monday, and a 30% chance of rain on Tuesday. Based on the report, what is
sergey [27]

Answer:

The answer is 18 percent, or 9/50.

Step-by-step explanation:

We first convert the chance of rain on Monday into a fraction.

60%=60/100=3/5.

We then convert the chance of rain on Tuesday into a fraction.

30%=30/100=3/10.

Because the two events are independent(i.e. If it rains on Tuesday doesn't depend on if it rains on Monday) we multiply them together to get the probability they both happen. That chance is:

3/5 * 3/10=(3*3)/(5*10)=9/50(fraction form)=18/100=18%(percent form)

What is the next step in this construction?
bezimeni [28]

Answer:

The correct answer option is B. Construct a line perpendicular to XP through point A.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given an incomplete figure of construction of a perpendicular line and we are to determine whether which of the given answer options is the next step in the construction.

From the given marks, we can deduce that a perpendicular line to XY is being constructed, passing through P.

So the next step must be to construct a line perpendicular to XP through point A to complete the construction.
