Does the world Columbus encountered when he first set foot in America mesh with the popular vision of “Native Americans?”
Blizzard [7]

Answer:

The answer to this question is negative. Why? In the first place, Christopher Columbus arrived in a continent about which nobody knew. He himself thought he had arrived at some outer islands not far from the Asian mainland. He was looking for a new route to India to trade with species and other goods. So, he and his men could not have thought of the local inhabitants as "Native Americans." This is a later term used to call the original inhabitants of the continent. Even "America" was a term started to use later by the European explorers and had nothing to do with Columbus.

Lincoln means that the soldiers were willing to die to give their lives out of love and devotion is the right answer

Explanation:

The battle that lasted for three days was the worst ever during the war period. Many soldiers died while on duty. The rest remained in panic but they were determined to win the battle. This was, however, a very critical battle because if one side gave up, the other will think that they would have won and achieved their independence through other confederacy nation.

Even though they took more causality on both days, the troops never gave up, but in the previous battles the armies were not ready to make such causalities, and because of this they gave up to the forces of the south
