So we know that the area of only the pool is 198 ft^2. To find the area of the entire yard, multiply length times width so:

Area of yard = 22 ft  x  30 ft
Area of yard = 660 ft^2

Now subtract the pool area from the yard area:

660 - 198 = 462

So the area of only the yard is 462 ft^2

Hope this helps!!

Andy is building a model of a square pyramid for a class project. The side length of the square base is 11 inches and the slant
Wewaii [24]

Answer:

The surface area of the model pyramid is 451\ in^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

The surface area of the pyramid is equal to

SA=B+LA

where

B is the area of the base of the pyramid

LA is the lateral surface of the pyramid

<em>Find the area of the base B</em>

B=11^{2}=121\ in^{2} -----> is a square

<em>Find the lateral surface area of the pyramid LA</em>

we know that

The lateral surface area is equal to the area of its four triangular faces

LA=4[\frac{1}{2}(11)(15)]=330\ in^{2}

<em>Find the surface area of the pyramid</em>

Substitute the values

SA=121+330=451\ in^{2}

Irina18 [472]
Unfortunately, you haven't shared the "figure below" that shows the dimensions of this parcel of land.  Without being able to calculate the area of the parcel, you cannot really answer this question exactly.

Suppose that the area of the parcel were 6000 square meters.  Dividing that by 1500 square meters, we get 4, which represents the number of zebras that can live on this (example) parcel.

Figure out the area of your parcel, in square meters, and thend divide your result by 1500 square meters.  This will give your your answer.  Please note:  your answer will be a COUNT of zebras.  "meters" does not belong in this answer.
