Directions: You have just read some poems that use nature as a symbol for something else; in this case, the characteristics of h

uman beings. If you had to choose something in nature to symbolize who you are and your characteristics, what would it be? A plant? An animal? A body of water? The mountains or the desert? There are many choices. Think about your personality, choose one thing from nature that best symbolizes who you are, and then use the Text Editor to write a paragraph about it. Before you begin, brainstorm some ideas. In what ways are you and the thing you chose to symbolize yourself similar? Use vivid descriptions and details so that the reader will have a very clear understanding of why you and your symbol in nature are so similar. This paragraph must contain at least 150 words or more. As always, check your writing thoroughly for spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
