Spain and Portugal divided the New World by drawing a north-to-south line of demarcation in the Atlantic Ocean, about 100 leagues (555 kilometers or 345 miles) west of the Cape Verde Islands, off the coast of northwestern Africa and then controlled by Portugal. All lands east of that line (about 46 degrees, 37 minutes west) were claimed by Portugal. All lands west of that line were claimed by Spain.

In Being Henry David, what type of learner is hank?
sladkih [1.3K]

Answer:

Seventeen-year-old "Hank" has found himself at Penn Station in New York City with no memory of anything --who he is, where he came from, why he's running away. His only possession is a worn copy of Walden, by Henry David Thoreau. And so he becomes Henry David-or "Hank" and takes first to the streets, and then to the only destination he can think of--Walden Pond in Concord, Massachusetts. Cal Armistead's remarkable debut novel is about a teen in search of himself. Hank begins to piece together recollections from his past. The only way Hank can discover his present is to face up to the realities of his grievous memories. He must come to terms with the tragedy of his past, to stop running, and to find his way home.

Mamont248 [21]

Answer:

Hesitant

Explanation:

The given question refers to the image shown below.

Out of the listed words, the one that fits the given definition is hesitant. Someone who is hesitant will not instantly do or say something. They will think about it thoroughly, or possibly even overthink due to their fear, indecision, or unwillingness. For example, someone may be hesitant to change their job, because a new job always comes with uncertainties. People always prefer to stay in their comfort zone.
