Answer:

Sample Response: The argument in favor of social media use is the stronger argument. The article claims that students do better in school when they use social media. The author gives anecdotal evidence that students use social media to discuss classwork, then uses empirical evidence to show that grades went up in a study where students used social media. The argument against social media is weak because it lacks specific evidence. The writer uses the rhetorical device of parallelism to list a variety of ill effects of social media use. However, the writer never offers any evidence for these negative effects. This writer uses the bandwagon fallacy by telling the audience that most people who want to do well do not use social media.

Explanation:

Just did the assignment. Use any part of the response and it'll be right.

Use advocate in a complex sentence

Use adulation in a complex sentence
Stells [14]

Answer:

A complex sentence has an independent clause and one or more dependent clauses. Ex: When the cake is brown, take it out of the oven. The first part of this sentence is a dependent clause because it is not complete by itself. The second part is independent because it can stand on it's own. Hope this helps!

At the end of act 1, what plan has Cassius devised?
professor190 [17]

Answer: Cassius has devised a plan to persuade Brutus to act against Caesar.

Explanation:

Brutus is a character from Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. He is Caesar's friend who joins a conspiracy against Caesar.

At the end of Act I, Scene II, Cassius plans to convince Brutus to join a group of conspirators. Brutus is essential for the murder plan, because Caesar trusts him, as opposed to Cassius.

Cassius thus devises a plan to write letters and throw them at Brutus's window. The letters are intended to discredit Caesar. Cassius wants Brutus to believe that those letters come from Roman citizens, which will make him change his opinion about Caesar and participate in the murder plot.

Do you think physical activity will help you through this COV((((ID crisis? Why or why not? Please explain your response.
Scorpion4ik [409]

Answer:

Yes it will. You can excersise indoors to stay fit while this virus is going on.

You can search up excersise videos on YTube, they have lots of videos for teens, adults, old people, etc.

If you don't like to watch videos while excersising then you can make your own routine, for example, do 20 pushups, 15 jumping jacks, and etc. Pound for pound, muscle burns more calories at rest than body fat. So the more muscle you have, the higher your resting metabolic rate. And, of course, you also burn calories while you're actually exercising.

Hope this helps and stay safe!
