The Great Compromise of 1787, (akaSherman Compromise), was an agreement reached during the Constitutional Convention of 1787. It was between delegates of the states with large and small populations that defined the structure of Congress and the number of representatives each state would have in Congress according to the United States Constitution.

Under the agreement proposed by Connecticut delegate Roger Sherman, Congress would be a “bicameral” or two-chambered body, with each state getting a number of representatives in the lower chamber (the House) proportional to its population and two representatives in the upper chamber (the Senate).

president wilson created _____ to regulate prices , manufacturing, and transport of materials for the war
Paul [167]

Answer:

Clayton Antitrust Act and Federal Trade Commission

Explanation:

In 1914, President Woodrow Wilson established the Clayton Antitrust Act and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), which together are parts of the Antitrust Laws, that helped monitor economic processes from manufacturing, transport, distribution, sales, marketing and all levels of business in general.

They helped the US economy to stay safe and fair, first during wartime, but also ever since the establishment. These laws affect everyone, customers, distributors, and manufacturers, and are beneficial for all.

With these laws, the economy can grow and all sectors are remaining fair.

 • Clayton Antitrust Act was established to cover the loopholes that stayed from the Sherman Antitrust Act and protect the economy. Sherman Antitrust Act prohibited monopoly, but Clayton Antitrust Act prohibited conduct, the three-level enforcement scheme and discriminatory shipping and distribution agreements.

 • Federal Trade Commission was established in order to regulate, monopolisation and fraudulent in production and trade. This Commission set prices and protected customers as well as businesses from bad trading and malfunctioning.

Answer:

spirit of cooperation ended abruptly in 1960, when the Soviets shot down an American U-2 spy plane over their territory"-755

Explanation:

President Dwight D. Eisenhower (1890-1969) was the 34th president of the United States of America between 1953 to 1961. He worked well with the Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev to thaw the cold war at the end of 1950s. In May 1960, their cooperation ended prematurely when diplomatic crises erupted because the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) were said to have gunned down an American U-2 spy plane in Soviet air space.

President Eisenhower was compelled to admit to the soviets that the central intelligence unit of his country has been sending out spy missions for several years in the USSR.
