identify one of the darker actions examined in a story or drama from this unit. in what piece is the action highlighted? what in
Nookie1986 [14]

The darker actions and the interactions or emotions given in the story is described below.

Explanation:

The first thing that you need to do is determine what dark actions are, and how they apply to the story.  A dark action would be something that a character does that shows something tat is dark, ie evil, bad, negative.

In the story The Most Dangerous Game, the character Sanger Rainsford, a famous big-game hunter, is stranded on an island, and found by General Zaroff, another big-game hunter.  Zaroff hunts humans in order to experience a ore challenging and engaging hunt.  He then hunts Rainsford.  Rainsford ultimately has to decide if he will kill or be killed.

There are a lot of dark actions in this story, and the above quick synopsis highlights two of them: General Zaroff decides to hunt humans for sport, and Rainsford has to decide whether to kill Zaroff or get killed.  The intentions and eotions, as you can imagine, are diverse: fear of death, anger at being hunted, the need to survive... there are more, but this will give you a start.

When thinking about how the drama changes if characters overcame the darker emotions, think about this:  Imagine how the story would change if Rainsford decided to not participate, and just sat down instead of being hunted.  Imagine what would happen if Zaroff decided to quit hunting Rainsford.  Would the men become friends, help each other?  Or would one of them die regardless?

Answer: A

Explanation:

‘How I learned English’ is a poem by Gregory Djanikian where the poet depicts the thoughts and feelings of the center character towards the language English.

The lines mentioned above helps the readers picture how colorful and beautiful the setting is. ‘Ringed by elms and fir and honeysuckle’ here, the ‘elms’ describes the tall deciduous tree with its beautiful green leaves, whereas ‘honeysuckle’ are the delightful colorful plants.

‘In the field, a blue sky above them

Tipped with cirrus’ even in this line Gregory have described the setting so beautifully. The pleasing blue sky, the alluring cloud formation (cirrus), the vast green field. Everything here is just so colorful and delightful.
