The Peace of Paris was the treaty that concluded the American Revolutionary War, which confronted the Thirteen Colonies against Great Britain and culminated in the independence of the United States of America.

This treaty recognized American sovereignty over lands east of the Mississippi, territories of which Native Americans had already been dispossessed by the British, French, and Spanish.
