Can Some one proof read this please!!!! Oh How I Love My Family It was Wednesday, November 23 2008, 2:25 pm. My parents and I we
re sitting in my mom’s gold van waiting for my sister Macey and brother Andrew to get out of school. My sister gets out at 2:30 pm because she was in elementary school. Whereas my brother, who was in his senior year and had a perfect attendance record up until that day, with less a year left of his high school career, and he was pulled out 30 small minutes before the end of the high school school day, man was he mad about that. So, we were on our way by 2:32 pm to my dad’s sister Joanna’s house in North Carolina. We were on the road for many, many long and boring hours, the van was claustrophobic and stuffy. I was asleep for at least two hours when I was jostled, then the next thing I knew the car was stopped, it was dark and the car filled with freezing cold air as my dad left his car door open while he walk around the car looking at the ground. Apparently we ran over a nail, so we had to call AAA. Since it was so late, they said that they would come get the car in the morning so my dad told them our exact location. Luckily, we were close enough to my aunt’s house so my dad called my uncle Rich. While we waited for the longest hour of my life, my sister and brother both decided to have hissy fit break downs and say we were going to be stuck on the side of the cold dark road and die. I just didn't realize what was actually happening because it was about 12:45 and 8 year old little me just didn't care, because I was so very cold, overly tired, very cramped and just wanted to get to my aunt’s house. Finally, my uncle and two oldest cousins showed up in their huge brand new white Suburban. By the time we got to their house, it was around 3 am, I could barely stay awake as I grabbed my bag from the car upstairs to my aunt’s dark wooden paneled office, I didn't care it was cold or that I had to sleep on a yoga mat on the floor, I just wanted to go to sleep. I woke up and was extremely confused because I forgot where I was and as I looked around I wonder where my sister, brother, and cousins from Pennsylvania were. So, I opened the old creaky office door and wandered down the stairs, when I finally made my way to the kitchen and family room. On the three seater black leather couch was Andrew reading his book, as always, sitting next to him was Jake and Owen, two of the three cousins from Pennsylvania, Jake was playing on some handheld gaming device and Owen was playing with Legos on the shag carpet floor. When I went to get a bagel form the kitchen my parents were chatting with my aunt Suzy and her son Nick from Orlando, Florida. Turns out that Jake and Owens’ mom, Wendy, dad, Ron, sister, Julia, Macey, Joanna, Rich, their three kids Kelby, Kyle, and Chase were all participating in the local Turkey Trot. By the time they all got back it was bright and sunny noon. >>>>

Perhaps the most popular reason why people invest in companies is to earn a return on their investments, also known as profit. Investments made through the purchase of stocks and bonds or by extending a loan are expected to provide the owner passive investment income and capital appreciation at a rate that exceeds the rate the owner would earn through safer or more traditional ways of putting his money to work, such as by keeping money in a savings account or buying a piece of real estate.
Influence
Investing in a company by buying shares of common voting stock gives you an ownership interest in the company and a right to influence its affairs. Individuals and other entities can make a strategic decision to purchase available shares of stock of a public corporation that will give the investor the right to vote at shareholders meeting and potentially affect management decisions and appointments to the board of directors.
Anticipated Advantages
Occasionally, an investment in a company is justified by future expectations of the company's evolving competitive advantages. A company might be expected to gain an advantage over competitors through the development of a new product, control of crucial intellectual property or by cornering the market in a critical industry resource.
Many of the seemingly innocuous details throughout “The Lottery” foreshadow the violent conclusion. In the second paragraph, children put stones in their pockets and make piles of stones in the town square, which seems like innocent play until the stones' true purpose becomes clear at the end of the story.
Malala describes the overall mood of her familial village as a fearful mood, due to the Taliban's controlling in the region where she was raised. According to Malala, that was a lot restrictions, prohibitions and a certain control over the behavior of women. Taliban took over the region of swat valley where they lived, banning television, girl's education, music, and basic rights of women. Taliban's control was strong in that region, that's why families were always fearing its reprisals.
