Why did the Norman’s kings have so much power?
Vladimir [108]
The Normans were anti-slavery. Rather than enslaving prisoners, they worked out they could make a tidy profit from ransoming them. The Normans built all the Romanesque cathedrals in England.

Question 25
Vsevolod [243]

The serious difficulty for the national government under the Articles of Confederation is "It lacked the authority to raise money to support itself ".

Explanation:

The Article of Confederation gave away most of the power to the state and federal government had only limited control over the state. Particularly this article made a power less national government during the American Revolution.

The American states were of the opinion that if the strong national government is there in the central means it may affect the autonomy of the states.

So the states were strongly objected to the formation of strong central government and felt that the most decision making power should be with them.

The downfall of The Article of confederation was simply because it has no power to make laws to control the states.

Which action is most likely to be taken by a state political party rather than a
Bad White [126]

Answer:

The answers are:

A. Coordinating fund-raising efforts in a campaign for governor

office.

B. Determining the party's position on controversial foreign policy

issues

Explanation:

This is because when it's local, it's usually in support of local elected officials. It has nothing to do with national officials. However, when it is a national party, they could endorse a presidential candidate because that is ultimately more important and affects all people- hence the national. This is because whoever is chosen in such an important election changes the future of a country, and is something national organizations should deal with- not local ones.

Hope this helps!
