Macbeth's wife kills herself because she can't handle the guilt she feels over Duncan's murder.

Explanation:

Lady Macbeth was the prime mover behind the murder plot but has since come to develop a conscience about the part that she played. Unable to remove the taint of guilt from her soul, she can no longer live with herself. Thus, she kills herself.
