The Security Council and The General Assembly
The creation of NATO and the Warsaw Pact shows the dedication to security of the United States and Soviet Union by creating political/military alliances. Both of these organizations formed after World War II give the Soviet Union and the United States peace of mind in case of another war breaking out. The US teamed up with countries like Great Britain, France, and Denmark to create NATO while the Soviet Union aligned themselves with countries like Romania and Albania.
The church played a very important role because it was "all around" in medieval times. On the level of almost every village there was a church and a priest which helped spread the word of the christian god. Through this, almost every person down to a villager somewhere in a village in Europe was able to come to church where people gathered on Sundays and hear new information and educate himself on various things related to faith and religion.
