Is revealing the outcome of the plot in the prologue an effective technique for creating suspense, or would you prefer not to be

If you would:

      I would rather have the movie revealed before i watch it. I would like to know so i dont enter the movie clueless. it also prevents me from asking questions, and bothering others because you already know the answers to them. I could already know the backstory of someone or something. Its kinda like watching a series in order, if I watch the season in order the I would know what happened but if I dont then I won't.

Explanation: When there is suspense and tension in a movie it makes it more interesting. Just knowing what will happen is boring. Horror movies are scary the frost time I watch them but not the second time. This is because I know the outcome.
