Miller used the play as a criticism of ______.
slavikrds [6]

Answer:

McCarthyism.

Explanation:

Miller's story The Crucible is about Salem witch hunts, but only on the surface. In the story, we can see Puritans hunting innocent people and burning them at stakes just because there was a slight possibility in their minds that they might be witches.

However, metaphorically, the entire story is a criticism of McCarthyism. McCarthy was so paranoid about communists that he organized "witch hunts" in order to find them in America and eradicate them from the country.

What does the characterization in Beowulf show about Grendel? A.He is cautious. B.He is cruel. C.He is complex. D.He is misunder
ELEN [110]

The correct answer is B. He is cruel. Grendel is introduced as a bloodthirsty, evil monster. He is a lonely creature who seeks an understanding of the seemingly meaningless world around him. He kills men consistently in the town's mead-hall, ripping them apart. Grendel is shown as evil because he kills passionately.

Please someone help me, whats your opinion on the short story the seventh man?
Andreyy89

Answer:

The setting is some sort of therapy session perhaps one where "survivors" tell their stories. The seventh man of the title tells his story within this minimal framing. He recounts a childood experience, the loss of his best friend K, and his own survival, during a typhoon and tsunami when he was 10 years old.
