Answer: There is 225 millimeters of slushy originally in the cup.

Explanation:

Since we have given that

Rate at which she drink the slushy = 4.5 millimeters

Time taken to drink the slushy by Mariana = 17 seconds

Total quantity she drank is given by

4.5\times 17=76.5\ millimeters

Still there is left some slushy,

Quantity of slushy left =148.5 millimeters

Total quantity of slushy originally in the cup was given by

148.5+76.5=225\ millimeters

Hence, there is 225 millimeters of slushy originally in the cup.

Since she drank 4.5 mm of slushy per second, she continued to drink for 17 seconds so 4.5•17=76.5
Now that you have how much she drank, add that to how much is remaining (148.5) and the original amount that she drank; the answer is 225 milliliter of slushy

The range would be $14.

To find the range, you would take the highest value and subtract it by the lowest value:
29 - 43 =
