There are all kinds of stories of hostilities between early American colonists and the Native people who were already there. However, these hostilities did not occur with every European group who came. The French are a notable exception to this, and in fact, enjoyed excellent relations with the Natives almost from the very beginning.
Why were the French different? The main reason is that they did not try to change the Natives. They also did not compete with the Natives for land. When the French first came to the Americas in the 1530s and 1540s to engage in seasonal fur trading, they immediately established strong trading ties with the local Natives they found there. The Natives already dealt extensively in furs.
D it was a draw but showed the colonist could stand their ground when it came to the war

Answer:

forcing one’s beliefs on others
.

Explanation:
- The Free Exercise Clause in the First Amendment of the U.S Constitution provides the right to the citizens of the country to follow any religious belief, engage in any religious ceremonies and express one's religion.
- It provides the citizens the right to attend any religious house, follow an unpopular religion or even to change religions several times
. However, it does not protect forcing one's belief on others. Religion should be voluntary and forcing religion is not a religious freedom.
During World War II, President Truman was notified of the successful test of the atomic bomb, and had to make a decision because he knew it would be a devastating weapon, but it would also guarantee the end of the war.
Even though it was a conflicting decision, Truman believe that the Japanese were cruel and not civilized, and Americans should act the same way in order to fight the country.
So based on these facts, he made the decision to hit both Hiroshima and Nagasaki, in 1945.
