Answer:

Truman is believable because he starts to notice that he lives in a reality TV show while still remaining totally unaware in the bulk of his thoughts. However, as the evidence stacks up, and he gets through denial, he starts to question his life and become very upset. That is understandable because his whole life was a lie!
