This political cartoon appeared in an American newspaper in 1921. "Let's see you collect it," New York World (1921)" Which best
Helen [10]
The correct answer is sympathy, because Germany has a large debt that will be difficult to pay.

The political cartoon "Let's see you collect it" shows a man (who is labeled as Germany) being crushed by an enormous bag of money. This shows sympathy for the Germans, as the author realizes that the amount that Germany has to pay (which is 55,000,000,000) is not going to be easy. Along with this, he realizes that paying this amount of money could very well ruin Germany.

How do you think the immigration and nationality act of 1965 changed political activity in the nation?
Zielflug [23.3K]
The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 got rid of the quota system for immigrants coming into the US. Before this act, there was only a certain amount of immigrants allowed into the US based on their nation of origin.

With this new act in place, immigration increased rapidly. This was especially true for individuals who were living in countries that were war stricken (like the ones in Southeast Asia). This increase in population probably worried some Americans, as individuals were coming from countries where the US was currently involved in a war (example- Vietnam). However, it really depends on the specific group of people you are studying as all American react differently to laws.
