Aba.

                                                                                    April 18, 2021.

The Head Teacher,

Universal Model School,

90 Aba Owerri Road,

Aba.

     Sir,

THE NEED TO INSTILL MORAL VALUES INTO STUDENTS OF UNIVERSAL MODEL SCHOOL

It is with a great sense of concern that I write this letter to you concerning the waning standard of discipline and morals in Universal Model School.

Sir, let me restate the fact that this school is renowned for discipline and sound moral values. These values appear to be eluding us gradually in the recent past. Many students no longer respect the bell when it goes neither do they observe the usual sanitation exercise each day.

The culture of decent dressing among students is also on the decline especially among the senior students. This is detrimental to the public image of the school.

Recall sir, that the school is a nest were the nations potentials brood. If students are not taught the culture of discipline within the four walls of the school, they may never learn it elsewhere in life.

I humbly beseech you sir, to use your good office to ensure that discipline is instilled into all students of Universal Model School Aba.

Thanks in anticipation of your Positive response.

                                                                                           Yours Faithfully,

                                                                                            Jude Njoku

                                                                                            Senior Prefect

lozanna [386]
I am assuming that the question actually reads: Poetry can make use of ____.

1. Rhyme2. Prose3. Paragraphs4 Rhythm
Select all that apply.
Poetry can make use of Rhyme, Prose, Rhythm and Paragraphs. Prose poetry is poetry that looks like prose but is actually poetry. Prose poetry also contains paragraphs. It tends to focus on images and contains poetic meter and rhyming words. Standard poetry, on the other hand is written in verse, contains image driven metaphors, and consists mainly of poetic meter which is rhythm and rhyming meter.

Which line from Daly's "Sixteen" best conveys the narrator's feeling of hopefulness?
Crank

Answer:

"But he'd said, ‘I'll call you.' That's what he said—‘I'll call you.'"

Explanation:

Sixteen is a short story written by Maureen Daly, an Irish-born American writer best known for the works she wrote while she was still in her teens. Sixteen is one of these works. She wrote it when she was sixteen years old.

The story tells about a girl who meets a boy at the skating rink and begins to like him. The line But he'd said, ‘I'll call you.' That's what he said—‘I'll call you.' follows their separation. The narrator hopes the boy will call her and convinces herself that he will do so. However, soon we find out that the boy didn't call. This is how the story ends.
