Answer:While making a summary it is very important to keep a few things in mind. Some of them are 1. Carefully select the theme of the passage 2. Read with who, what, when, where, why, and how questions in mind 3. Do not rewrite the original text 4. Leave no scope for confusion 5. Include all the main ideas 6. Do not include any unnecessary or repetitive sentences 7. Do not make any assumptions 8. The length of the summary must not exceed 25 percent of the original text 9. Do not change the original source.
