Answer:

153.86

Step-by-step explanation:

So first off, what is the formula for finding area of a circle?

Its \pi r^{2}

We know that r(radius), is the distance from one point of the circle to its center.

In this case it is 7.

Note that in other cases, you might see a line going strait through the middle of the circle.

This is the diamater, and is 2x the radius. If you see the diamater, divide it in half, and you will find radius.

Now, back to the problem.

We know our radius is 7, so lets plug that into \pi r^{2}:

\pi *7^{2}

=

\pi *49

=

153.93

So tecnically, this test is wrong. THe actual answer is .07 bigger than what they give.

However, it is the only possible answer, so it is correct.

Answer:

153.86

Hope this helps!

The following formula relates the quantities temperature in Celsius (C) and temperature in kelvins (K).
Oksanka [162]

Answer:

<em>The other two related equations are:  C+273.15= K  and  K-C= 273.15</em>

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula that relates the quantities temperature in Celsius (C) and temperature in kelvins (K) is given by:   C= K-273.15

First we can add 273.15 to both sides of the equation. So, we will get.....

C+273.15= K-273.15+273.15\\ \\ C+273.15= K

Now, we can also subtract K from both sides of the original equation. So, we will get..........

C-K= K-273.15-K\\ \\ C-K=-273.15\\ \\ K-C= 273.15

So, the other two related equations are:  C+273.15= K  and  K-C= 273.15

ian put 48 cubic inches of soil into another flower pot. the length of the pot is 4 inches.the width of the pot is 3 inches how
matrenka [14]

Answer:

4 inches

Step-by-step explanation:

First, we find how much fits into one inch of soil. We do this by multiplying 4 by 3. This equals 12. For every 12 cubic inches, the soil will be one inch deep. We divide 48 by 12 to see how many inches deep is it. This equals 4. The soil is 4 inches deep.
